About Me

Born and based in Columbus, Ohio, I specialize in the realm of beads, jewelry, and adornment.

From wearing uniform in middle and high school, to the strict dress regulations at West Point, or having worn a hijab through my childhood, every phase of my formative journey has significantly influenced the way I creatively express myself. During these years, my face became a canvas—a space where my artistic instincts found their first expression. When I was no longer bound by rules of authority, my expression evolved past makeup and into a profound love for beads, a medium that allows me to extend my creative expression beyond the confines of any predefined canvas.

Beads marked the beginning of innovation in my face art, but the desire for something more permanent fueled my journey into jewelry making. Crafting jewelry from existing beads, however, left me wanting greater control over the creative process. It was this dissatisfaction that led me to the captivating world of glass beadmaking, where I found the freedom to shape and mold my artistic vision with every fiery twist and turn.

Freedom of expression is a primary aspect of my artist philosophy. Instead of choosing to be bound by one singular medium, my only interest is to stay true to myself.
